5. Leave area messy
6. Overstay your welcome
7.  Eat your host out of house and home
8. keep your host up too late and wake them up too early
9. Criticize or discipline their children
10. Never, ever, under any circumstance come univited

1. Come bearing gifts
2. Help with chores
3. Replace whatever you’ve used
4. Keep their children under control
5. Offer to cook a few times during the visit
6. Offer to buy groceries
7. Eat what is prepared. Unless the meal cooked will cause a serious allergic reaction, leave your preferences and must haves for when you get home.
8. Participate in family rituals and activities.
9. Leave before over staying their welcome
